Just like last year, we continue to provide support to the "Blood Donation" project that we are conducting jointly with The Red Crescent this year as well. In this project, which sees LC Waikiki employees provided support by donating blood on May 21-25, 2014, LC Waikiki presented The Red Crescent with a semi-trailer truck.
In the ceremony held at LC Waikiki Headquarters on May 28, 2014 and where Mr. Ahmet Lütfi Akar, President of Turkish Red Crescent and Mr. Vahap Küçük, Chairman of the Executive Board of LC Waikiki were present, The Red Crescent awarded LC Waikiki with a plaque expressing their appreciation for its contributions. With the project in which 1237 units of blood were donated, LC Waikiki showed awareness in the field of social responsibility once again.
