LC Waikiki, which is aiming to become one of the top three ready-to-wear clothing retailers in Europe by 2023, took a considerable global step towards this goal by opening a store in Mostar. The opening of the 100th LC Waikiki store in Mostar, in Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 24th September 2014 was celebrated enthusiastically with a series of events in Mostar and in the LC Waikiki Headquarters in Istanbul.
Visuals were put in the LC Waikiki Headquarters ten days before the opening to arouse interest in this subject in the company. The motivating sentences written on the stairs of the LC Waikiki Headquarters and the logo ONE00 in the lifts and outside the building were a part of these visuals. Different things were added to these visuals and the LC Waikiki Headquarters was made completely ready for the 100th international store celebrations.
The employees who checked in at the International HQ won surprise gifts in the Swarm (Check-in) competition organised during the opening week. Two days before the opening, the employees of the company were called and informed that good developments were waiting for them by the MD for International Retail Operations, Mr Yenal Gokyildirim.

On the opening day, we used the fire announcement system to announce that we opened our 100th international store to all the employees in the headquarters in Istanbul, and we thanked all the LC Waikiki employees and the people who made a contribution. After this in-company announcement, we shared a video where our Chairman, Mr Vahap Kucuk, offered his congratulations and thanks. On the same day, a World Cuisine Banquet was organised in the headquarters dining hall specifically for our 100th store.

A day after the opening, all ONE00 logos were changed as 100 and LC WAIKIKI’s international journey was illustrated on the stairs of the company. Everybody who walked on the stairs in the headquarters found out the opening date and place of each international store.
Nearly 2000 balloons were released by LC Waikiki employees as part of the flying balloons event, where we witnessed colourful scenes.
